In 'The Priestess' Diana Garry is involved in a dig at a watery mystery site on Bimini in the Bahamas. She has strange dreams of the lost civilisation of Atlantis.

Diana Garry is a doctor of Archaeology at Bath Sulis University in the south-west of England. In her 30’s, she has long given up on the idea of romance in her life. She has one passion and that is her Archaeology. Diana has specialities in the Phoenicians, Celts and Romans. The world is a straightforward and straightforward place, as is its history. Everybody knows and accepts that. Modern history started with the adoption of agriculture in around 9000 BCE in the fertile crescent around the middle east that today includes northern Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Syria and Iraq. The ancient Sumerians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Egyptians, and Phoenicians were all responsible for the development of civilisation as we know it. People and events can be categorised as religious and irrational or logical and scientific. Everything can be explained by science. Or so she thought. In the Diana Garry book series, we follow Diana as her rigid belief systems are challenged in every possible way.
